I feel the Infernal Devices just get better and better, because of the love triangle between Will, Jem, and Tessa, which is quite interesting to speculate, though I have to say it took away a bit too much of the plot, but never less, Clockwork Princess is an amazing book.

To me, all of Cassandra Clare's covers are breath-takingly beautiful. I don't really think I've ever seen such covers that are so appealing and captivating. Just by looking at the amazing cover, you can just feel like the book is going to be an amazing read and I mean it. I love all of Cassandra Clare's covers, and I think the covers of the Infernal Devices are the best covers of all her books because they cast this majestical feeling and they speak to me. I would love to meet who designed all these great covers one day.

I also love how Cassandra Clare creates so many twists in the story. She creates the main plot of the story while creating another set of mini problems and such that makes you feel like there's so much going on in the story that it doesn't bore you to death since the story takes action right away because of it. Also, though I mentioned this before earlier, the love triangle also created an effect and it was half the reason why I wanted to read on. You really could not predict the ending of the story. Plus, I feel like the plots Cassandra Clare creates is always very original and creative as well.

The plot is basically a continuation of what happened in the first two books of the series: destroying Mortmain, the antagonist in the story who wants to destroy all the Shadowhunters, and how Tessa and her group of Shadowhunter friends are the only ones who can stop him. The plot does sound a bit cheesy and predictable, but trust me, the series is definitely worth reading. Despite the predictability of the main plot of the story, there are so many things happening in the book that it seems like you almost forgot the whole point of it, things like Tessa's parents, arguments with the Enclave (yes, this sounds a bit boring, but they're actually arguing about situations regarding Charlotte, the head of the London Institute, becoming Consul through reading sent letters from Consul to the Enclave which was really cool), Jem's health, and it made the book so addicting, like yin fen (the addicting drug that is the cause of Jem's bad health) and it's also what made me want more and more. Really, I can't describe the greatness of how the story's written and the skillfully written plot.

Characters. Oh my god, I loved the characters so much. Each one of them had distinguishing characteristics and Cassandra Clare has made me fallen in love with almost every male character that she writes about. There were so many times where I felt the character's feelings, and I could so easily imagine and relate myself as one of the characters. It was amazing how I could truly put my shoes in a character and feel and see the world they see and feel it. Wow. The Infernal Devices has also made me like Tessa a whole lot more than Clary in The Mortal Instruments. Clary just kind of seems...annoying, and you get that kind of feel when reading The Infernal Devices that Tessa has that kind of sophistication and knowledge of her. Clary just kind of seems reckless and childish to me.

Lastly, the feels. I'm not kidding you, I cried when I read the epilogue.I hate the ending so much, it kind of ruined the whole effect of the series. I wish I hadn't read the ending. I mean its clear that Tessa loves Will more, but then she agrees to spend a lifetime with Jem too? That is just so messed up. So basically Will dies and Tessa decides to love Jem. I mean like WTF? I have completely lost faith in Tees and I'm just so disappointed. I was sobbing uncontrollability when I read the epilogue.
